i find the location is quiet and the parking facilities were great. the swimming pool is a welcome addition. the spa facilities are clean and relaxing. i checked in early thanks to the friendly staff at reception.
i booked the upgrade, however, the mini bar fridge did not work properly. this meant i needed a bucket of ice brought to my room. it was a bit disappointing.

The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of options and organized everything well.
The room radiator was off in December, but nobody came to fix it. The bathroom had many dead flies, and the bath was slippery and lacked a mat. Breakfast used small plates and did not provide condiments or mugs for self service coffee.

Excellent Stay at a Beautiful Manor House

I found the grounds to be beautiful, and I enjoyed exploring them. The breakfast options had great quality, with lots of variety available. It was good to have Tesla charging available on site. This. (I appreciated the convenience!)
Upon arrival, I noticed signage to direct guests to the reception was not clear. One of the signs was positioned behind parked cars, so it was not visible from the road. This resulted in some initial confusion when trying to find the reception area.

The room was clean and well-equipped with extra pillows in the wardrobe. The bed was comfortable and soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel also replenished our tea, sugar and milk regularly.

The hotel has a peaceful location, set back away from the main road. It is in a beautiful park, making it a great base for exploring the area. The main car park is a short walk from reception.

i found the staff very friendly and helpful , this contributed to a peaceful atmosphere. the dinner at the restaurant was nice , also the breakfast included was lovely. the gym facilities were good and spa access was a bonus.
the signage wasn't clear upon arrival , especially since it was dark. one sign directing to reception was hidden behind parked cars. better lighting or signposting for the left turn into reception would help.

the hotel is set back from the main road , this ensures a really peaceful environment. the grounds are extensive and offer space for quiet walks. i saw many mature trees and well-maintained lawns.

the location wasn't easy to find. one of the signs directing you to reception is placed behind the parked cars. also, there was no liquid hand soap, only a bar of soap. dining at a nearby pub was like a better option.
